The Office of State Grants

The Office of State Grants is under the direction of Jennifer Chander and administers the following programs:
Renaissance on Main - the Renaissance on Main Program rewards communities that take steps to revitalize and maintain vibrant, economically sound development in Kentucky's downtown areas.
Coal Development Branch - the Coal Development Branch works to administer the LGEDF coal severance program, LGEAF coal and mineral entitlements and remaining CEGG grants.
Special Projects Branch - the Special Project Branch works to administer General HB line-items, Area Development Fund, Kentucky Body Armor Program, Kentucky Cemetery Preservation Fund, e-Prescribing Partnerships in Kentucky (ePPIK) Grant Program, Executive Order 2007-298 Program, Publicly Owned RAMP Assistance Program, and the Ready, Set, Success Program (New).
The Ready, Set, Success Pilot Project Grant provides funding to local county fiscal courts to develop measurable objectives that will address the enhancement of services for children in the local community.
Field Services - Field Services provide direct services statewide to funding recipients of any Office of State Grants programs.
298 Funds - Executive Order establishing a funding framework to address immediate public safety concerns and other harmful effects caused by the lowering of Lake Cumberland and safety concerns with Wolf Creek Dam.
